Cyber Pop-up funded by Google for Startups!

Big news!

Earlier this year, the CEO of Google and Alphabet, Sundar Pichai shared that the company will commit up to $175 million toward funding Black-owned businesses, as well as increase Black representation in leadership. One element of this commitment was brought to fruition through the Google for Startups Black Founder Fund. The $5M Google for Startups Black Founders Fund provides non-dilutive cash awards to Black led startups that have participated in our programs or have been nominated by our partner community. Selected founders receive between $50,000 and $100,000 in capital along with hands-on support to help their startup grow.

We’re excited to share that we’ve been honored by Google for Startups as recipients of their brand new Black Founders Fund. With critical funding AND support, we cannot wait to see where we go next. THANK YOU to 1871 in Chicago and Google for believing in us, and to all of our supporters who have been a part of this amazing journey! This means the world.
